Pet Policy at YQR Airport
YQR Airport welcomes pets and their owners who are travelling or visiting the airport. We want to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, so we have established some rules and guidelines for pet owners and their furry friends.
Pet Rules
- Pets must be well behaved and under the control of their owners at all times.
- Pets must not cause any disturbance, damage, or harm to other passengers, airport staff, or airport property. Please call 306-761-7550 if you need assistance.
- If your pet requires clean up, please do so immediately or call 306-761-7550 if you need assistance doing so.
- Pets must comply with the pet policies of the airlines they are travelling with. Owners are responsible for checking the requirements and fees of their airlines before booking their flights. Pet Amenities
YQR Airport provides two pet relief areas for the convenience of pet owners and their pets.
- One pet relief area is located outside the terminal, near the parking lot. It is a fenced grassy area with waste bags and trash cans.
- Another pet relief area is located inside the terminal, after the pre-board screening area, on the right side. It is an indoor facility with artificial turf, waste bags, trash cans, and a sink.
If you need assistance or directions to the pet relief areas, please ask the security staff, and they will be happy to help you.
