Regina Airport Authority Announces New Board Member.

The Regina Airport Authority (RAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Schutzman as a new member of the RAA Board of Directors.

Robert Schutzman was nominated by the RM of Sherwood and officially joined the RAA Board on August 23, 2022. Robert is a Professional Engineer and has recently retired from his role as the Director of Environmental Affairs at EVRAZ Inc NA Canada. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of engineering, environmental and regulatory matters in industry and government.

In the past, Robert has served as the Director and Chair of the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Environmental Industry and Managers Association, and the former Saskatchewan Regulatory Modernization Council. He has also held the role of Director and Vice-Chair of the Great Plains Air Zone, and chaired its Science Committee, and was a Director of the Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council. Robert is currently a member of the Standards Council of Canada ISO Technical Committee for Environmental Management Systems.
