Travel Advisory

Confirm your flight status directly with your airline

It’s very important that you check the status of your flight directly with your airline prior to coming to the airport or deciding not to come to the airport. During mass cancellations and delays, our website data may not be able to keep up. Check the flight status directly on their websites and/or give them a call to confirm the latest on the flight status.

What to do if your flight has been impacted

All three major airlines have issued advisories for what to do if you flight(s) have been impacted. Please follow those instructions:

Air Canada: https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/home/book/travel-news-and-updates/2022/winter-storm-canada.html

Sunwing: https://www.sunwing.ca/en/travel-alerts

WestJet: https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/news/2022/westjet-operations-update—guest-information-for-cancelled-flig

Airline agents at the airport are very limited in what they are able to do so please follow the instructions above.

The Regina Airport Authority does not have any additional information aside from what is available on those pages, the airline’s own flight status, or on the Arrivals and Departures pages on our website.

We also are not able to check on, modify, or cancel your flight reservation, baggage, or flight status. Airlines do not have local numbers here at the Regina Airport that we can put you through to. You must contact your airline using the instructions above.

Delayed or missing baggage

If you did arrive on a flight and your baggage did not make it, please notify an agent at the airport immediately with your baggage tags ready. You can check on the status of your baggage claim online on the airline’s websites:
