RAA is looking to establish an eligibility list for up to one (1) year for the position of Firefighter. Below is a brief summary of the position:
Firefighters are responsible for firefighting, all required regulated firefighter duties and emergency medical response. The role is responsible for rapidly and safely performing duties in hazardous environments and emergency conditions. The primary objective is to save lives, by providing a fire-free egress route for the evacuation of passengers and crew following an aircraft accident. A secondary responsibility is to preserve property and evidence. Other duties include daily checks and light maintenance of equipment, facilities and fire trucks, as well as educating the public on fire prevention and safety.

Upon screening of candidates, a date will be scheduled for the physical abilities test and successful applicants will be invited to attend.
