Today, Swoop announced that they will begin service at the Regina International Airport in 2022.

“Adding Swoop as our fifth airline and second ultra low cost carrier means travellers have incredible choice when deciding where and how to fly”, said Justin Reves, Manager of Customer Experience and Marketing at the Regina Airport Authority. “We know people love to travel, and we’re hopeful that 2022 is a year full of meaningful memories for those coming through YQR.”

Swoop is launching with twice weekly service between Regina and Edmonton starting June 16th, 2022.

“We are thrilled to begin service to Regina International Airport with the announcement of our new non-stop service to Edmonton,” said Charles Duncan, President of Swoop. “With more than three million travellers having already experienced Swoop’s incredible service and ultra-low fares we are confident this new route will be a huge success.”

They operate a fleet of Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, offering service to Canada, the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean.
