YQR Adds 6 Sunwing Winter Destinations to Schedule

James Bogusz, President and CEO of the Regina Airport Authority confirmed today that Sunwing will be returning with regular flight service from Regina for the 2021/2022 vacation season.
“We are thrilled that Sunwing is returning to southern Saskatchewan with a variety of quality winter holiday travel options,” said Bogusz. “Our partnership with Sunwing allows YQR to once again be the local gateway for winter travel.”
Starting in December, Sunwing is scheduled to fly to the following popular winter vacation destinations Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Mazatlán, Punta Cana and Varadero on a weekly basis. The flights will run from the middle of December to the middle of April.
Tropical Vacation Schedule:
Cancun: Mondays and Saturdays from December 11, 2021 until April 11, 2022
Puerto Vallarta: Fridays and Sundays from December 10, 2021 until April 10, 2022
Los Cabos: Thursdays from December 16, 2021 until April 14, 2022
Mazatlán: Fridays from December 17, 2021 until April 8, 2022
Punta Cana: Wednesdays from December 15, 2021 until April 13, 2022
Varadero: Tuesdays from December 14, 2021 until April 12, 2022
